Job Description

Reporting to the IT Associate Director, the incumbent will be assigned projects primarily focus on improving the business operational processes and efficiency.

We are looking for motivated and talented students who want to help us solve some of the complex challenges in financial technology. Group Technology team at Clifford Capital Holdings (CCH) provides support and services to operation & treasury trades management system, risk management system, corporate financial system, as well as other business support functional systems, all of which are central to CCH's business.

CCH Group Technology interns will gain unparalleled experience in financial technology. Interns will have the opportunity to work on a variety of applications and projects that directly impact the financial ecosystem. Our interns will be given opportunity to research, work and build technology solution using cloud technologies.

CCH’s Group Technology Internship program offers students opportunities to learn more about CCH’s business, our role in the financial industry, and the types of technology that keeps our business running. Students will develop both their technical skills and expand their network with access to industry experts, while working alongside other talented and ambitious students with a passion for the financial industry. 

Interns will participate and support several core roles and may be rotated across different projects, including:

  • Study and evaluate various applications and system’s processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Understand the current business process requirements and its challenges.
  • End to end project coordination throughout Sprints / SDLC
  • Being proactive in determining automation needs and accordingly sourcing and building tools or solutions to address the requirements.
  • Business Automation by exploring technologies such as RPA, ML / AI etc.
  • Assist to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
  • Application Design and Development of the following upcoming / ongoing project initiatives such as Portfolio Risk Management & Analytic solution, Portfolio Valuation Model, or automation of Vendor and Trade Payment Automation etc.
  • System Design
  • Research and Proof of Concepts
  • Cloud Technology Solutioning
  • Creation of digital dashboards for internal and Management reporting

 

Knowledge/ Experience Required:

  • Pursuing Master/ bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or information technology (Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science / Business Intelligence & Analytics, etc.)
  • Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and systems programming concepts
  • Proficiency within one or more programming languages/tools/format including Full stack development, Java, ASP.NET, Python, R programming, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SQL, JQuery, PowerIB; hands on experience in any of these languages/tools is preferable.
  • Good working knowledge of developing and building business model utilising tools / technologies like Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
