The Role
As a Lead Development Intern (LDI) your mission will be to profile and nurture qualified leads generated from various events, campaigns, and marketing activities. You will partner closely with our Inside Sales and Marketing teams to improve lead quality and sales conversion rates.
Joining the Cloudera team as an LDI you will build consultative selling skills to evangelize Cloudera across a territory/s, vertical or set of accounts. You will be igniting conversations with customer and prospect stakeholders to increase awareness of Cloudera offerings, to uncover or influence the discovery of new sales opportunities, and to increase Cloudera mindshare in the market.
Responsibilities
Leverage key campaigns and assets to qualifying leads and move them through the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire and Action).
Tele call leads to nurture them through various buying stages by providing relevant information to increase their understanding of Cloudera’s offering, the value proposition and use cases.
Work as part of the Inbound/Lead Nurturing team to build a stronger Cloudera Lead Database by profiling/researching existing leads to create a detailed view of the customer’s need for cloud technology and the sales opportunity.
Work closely with multiple stakeholders (Sales team, Partner team, Marketing team, etc) to achieve shared goals while ensuring exceptional internal & external customer satisfaction.
Keep up to date with the local Go-To-Market and business priorities and maintain industry and product knowledge necessary to drive customer success and value
Maintain records accurately in internal systems and deliver weekly report on results and activities progress
Be a trusted member of the regional Cloudera team.
You Are (or Have)
Proven success in business development and/or marketing telecalling and demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects in a high- growth environment where priorities shift fast.
A college degree from a reputable university and/or equivalent. Bachelor's degree, a technical background in engineering, computer science or MIS is a plus but not compulsory.Business Management, Marketing Management Degree.

Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience connecting with prospects over the phone in a fast-paced environment (50 outbound calls/day minimum)
Experience researching accounts and mapping organizational structure
Knowledge of sales methodology such as MEDDIC or the Challenger sale
Computer skills (Office 365 / G-Suite / Salesforce.com)
Time Management and prioritization skills
