Job Description
A strong focus is placed on ability to adapt and work in AGILE way, high attention to detail and team work within a small team of devops . Role entails the day to day support of the AWS infrastructure covering a number fo VPC accounts
- Deployment of applications and services into AWS using a variety of automation tools such as Cloudformation, Puppet and Cloud provider APIs.
- Troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimisation of cloud hosted applications and services in AWS, including cost optimisation.
- Working with application development teams using continuous delivery practises and toolsets, ie. Git, Jenkins, automated testing tools.
- Liaising with 3rd party vendors and suppo rt providers for timely resolution of issues
- Promote and realize automation opportunities across application deployment, maintenance and operational activities
