Primary Purpose
You will be part of the Asia Supply Planning Team, undertaking projects aimed toward optimizing and automating current processes related to Global Supply management. As part of this internship, you will have the opportunity to learn E2E process of supply planning in a multinational luxury fashion business environment – from new style allocations to supply-demand balancing. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with regional teams within the supply chain functions during the day-to-day interactions.
During the internship, you will have the opportunity to..
- Gain working knowledge of E2E supply planning by mapping out processes across sub-teams within supply planning function
- Collaborate across teams to develop visual process flow charts to increase transparency and consistency across the region
- Gain detailed understanding on Tapestry’s supplier management manual and contingency plans
- Update and maintain the supplier manual and contingency plans with reference to changes in roles & responsibilities
- Support PO data flow in Tapestry systems and gain hands-on experience in data reporting
- Support team to perform and maintain data updates in system
- Be part of monthly production capacity review meetings and quality risk assessment reviews
The accomplished individual will possess...
- Penultimate or Final Year student who is pursuing a relevant course in Supply Chain and/or Operations
- Demonstrates the Tapestry values: Optimist, Innovative and Inclusive
- Good working knowledge MS Word, Excel and Access
- Strong ability to analyze, model and interpret data
- Attention to detail, result oriented, creative & positive approach to problem-solving
- A keen desire to learn and ability to multi-tasking, prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Tenacity of a Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
