Job Description

As an intern of the Group Sustainability and Risk Office, the main focus of this role is to provide support for the team; responsible for driving change in the organisation through strategy formulation, stakeholder engagement and project management execution.

Sustainability and Risk

  • Perform regular industry research and data analysis on global sustainability and risk trends, regulatory changes, including emerging risks and sustainability issues such as decarbonisation, climate risk
  • Disseminate and share best practices and ideas across BUs on sustainability and risk management developments, including creating internal sustainability and risk awareness materials such as newsletters
  • Organise internal training/workshops to share knowledge on sustainability and risk management and best practices with employees of the Group, enabling better appreciation of the need and value of sustainability developments and risk management across different levels of leadership of the Group
  • Any other projects or initiatives undertaken by the Group Sustainability and Risk Office, as assigned

Enterprise Risk Management:

  • Maintain and facilitate discussions for risk registers with focus on the key risks, including risk identification, assessment of risks, and supporting business units and/or function units in remediation of risks
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of company’s Control Self-Assessment (CSAs)
  • Collate and analyse risk and internal control data (such as CSA and Key risk indicator)
  • Support process owners in identifying control gaps to strengthen the internal control environment
  • Follow up on internal audit issues and monitor for their timely closure

A 6-month commitment and/or final year student status will be considered advantageous.
