Job Description

Role: Business Development Executive
Location: Singapore
Term: Full Time 
Start Date: Immediate
Reporting to: CEO

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and connect through cold calls/emails
  • Build relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
  • Manage healthy sales pipeline
  • Track sales metrics to ensure targets are hit
  • Analyze market and establish competitive advantages

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in sales industry [OR] Diploma degree with 5+ years in the sales industry
  • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • CRM experience is a must, comfortable with making cold calls/emails
  • Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is preferred but not mandatory (We will provide training on our product/solutions business line)

Detailed day to day activities
You will be responsible for providing overall direction, sales strategy, and team management to meet and exceed profitable sales targets for IoT solutions in Singapore and Globally. On a day to day basis, you will be driving the following areas.

  1. Develop plans to increase the market share of all assigned product lines through communications with government officials, consulting engineers, engineering firms, industrial and utility companies
  2. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales revenue to meet and/or exceed assigned targets. Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators for the team
  3. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing quotas and goals with resellers and distributors
  4. Establish and ensure effective/clear communication/coordination within the internal teams to maintain a common, corporate message and share best practices
  5. Establish sales channels and recommend the development of alternate sales channels
  6. Ensure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system usage and sales processes are being diligently followed in a timely manner
  7. Assist with the negotiations of contracts for the purchase
  8. Conduct techno-commercial sales presentations
  9. Keep company management informed of business conditions that may affect assigned products or markets
  10. Stay current with competitive activity and organize sales response to market changes
  11. Provide accurate forecasts of projected sales and growth covering weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly numbers
  12. Focus on cultivating organic sales opportunities, and targeted messaging, with a goal of generating new leads locally and globally
  13. Create linkages between lead-generation marketing, and wider corporate marketing efforts, such as thought leadership, and broader brand-based marketing
  14. Actively participate in webinars, trade shows, roadshows, and training activities
  15. Ensure that profit margins are maximized for the assigned product/solution line
