Responsibilities:
Assist the pastry chef in the kitchen with specified work in accordance to established processes and standards
Ensure that pastry preparation, quality and presentation are in top condition
Consistently maintain a high level of personal hygiene, cleanliness of both kitchen equipment and at the workstation
Proactively ensures that all food items are always labelled and properly stored
Partakes in any other duties as assigned
What Is Expected:
An undergraduate currently pursuing Food & Beverage, Culinary Arts, Pastry & Bakery and/or related fields
Prior exposure in hands-on work in a similar environment will be a plus
A hands-on self-starter with strong interest in the kitchen operations within a hospitality setting
Team player with good communication skills to interact and develop relationships with team members
Able to commit to the position for at least 3 months
