Complete Corporate Services – Tax Associate

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the Tax Senior Associates to Directors in compliance and advisory matters relating to Corporate Tax, Goods & Services Tax, Grants, Personal tax, Withholding tax, Certificate of Residency and other relevant areas of taxation.
• Preparation and submission of tax returns and detailed tax computations for clients.
• Preparation of advice requested by clients if assistance is required by the Tax Senior Associates to Directors.
• Attending to ad-hoc queries raised by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (the “IRAS”).
• Attending to ad-hoc assignments that may arise from time to time, either due to request by the clients or the Tax Senior Associates to Directors.
• Assist and support the Tax Senior Associates to Directors in developing the budgeted fee and recovery for all pieces of work.
• Assist and support the Tax Senior Associates to Directors in the consistent monitoring of the engagement process (e.g. filing of estimated chargeable income and tax returns) to ensure clients’ tax filings / projects are completed on a timely basis.
• Assist and support the Tax Senior Associates to Directors in the consistent monitoring of timely payments by clients and the recovery of long outstanding clients’ debts.
• Manage expectations within portfolio of client to ensure clients’ satisfaction and to provide high quality services
• Assist with the audit tax provisioning support.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
• Confident, fast learner with excellent interpersonal skills.
• A highly organized working approach and attention to details
• Able to interact with personnel at all levels
