Computhink Kids SG – Computer Science Teacher

Position Summary

We are looking for Programming Gurus to join our teaching team.

You love technology and is a technically confident programmer. You are enthusiastic, a positive role model and love working with kids and young learners of the ages of 7 to 16.

This is a full-time position. Working hours are flexible. You will work on four weekdays and one weekend (either Saturday or Sunday).

Responsibilities

1. Teach Programming and Programming Concepts in small group classes for kids age 7 to 16.
   1. Languages and Platforms such as Scratch, Minecraft Code Builder, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript and more.
2. Research and develop new class curriculum, content and exercises for students. Review and improve on current content/ curriculum.
3. Manage, maintain and develop in-house systems such as the e-Learning Portal, Sharepoint, Vimeo, Student Management System, Team Password Managers and others.
4. Manage Parent-Teacher relationships and provide a wholesome learning environment for students.
5. Lead and conceptualise projects to engage and educate the public on why programming classes is relevant for their children.

Qualifications

1. Degree or Diploma in an Information Technology related field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
2. Good programming background with a positive learning attitude.
3. Experience with handling young children will be a plus.
4. Only Singaporeans.
