Job Description

The role of the Marketing Intern is to work with the Core Collective team under the guidance and mentorship of the Marketing & Events Manager. The role requires the intern to assist and contribute in the creation of campaigns for all concurrent events and promotion of Core Collective to fitness and wellness professionals as well as the general public. He/she has to work independently on daily content to make meaningful content generate value under tight deadlines. He/she must be able present professionally, to interact and network with new leads and cultivate the relationship when the need arises. He/she will assist with the social media calendar content as well as other through-the-line marketing that will be executed, ensuring maximum engagement to the correct target audience. The intern will be able to experience what is it like to prepare for pre-launching a product/brand, and also have hands-on experience working on the media launch.


Responsibilities

 SEO and SEM knowledge and technical skills for company pages’ optimization and visibility preferred. 

 Build and execute social media strategy through competitive market research, channel distributions, benchmarking, messaging and demographic targeting. 

 Be able to work creatively with the graphic designers to generate, edit, publish and share content on a daily basis to build meaningful connections to encourage our virtual community to feel engaged and heard. 

 Create editorial social media calendar for event social media specific pages. 

 Ideate with the team on strategies to reach a particular audience. 

 Be able to present the campaign and ideas coherently to the Marketing & Events Manager. 


Requirements

 Diploma student and above in relevant course of study. 

 Experience in SEO and SEM and all other social media channels. 

 Motivated and resourceful individual. 

 Knowledge of web design is an advantage. 

 Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think on his/her feet to make difficult decisions on-the-spot. 

 Excellent interpersonal communication skills and team player. 

 Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills. 

 Positive attitude and multi-tasker.
