THE ROLE
About the Role…
Through this role, you’ll be able to gain an understanding of:
- Employee engagement that goes beyond activities, games, and events.
- The employee sentiments and desire for engagement activities and how do we bridge the gaps.
- Enhancing the employee engagement program through constant feedback and review process.
- How do we create an inclusive workplace environment through change management and transformation?
In this role you will be responsible for:
Employee engagement
- Supports the line manager to plan employee engagement activities
- Conceptualises and executes meaningful activities which supports key drivers.
- Be responsible for the employee engagement communication, including but not limited to EDM, workplace post etc.
- Enhance the employee engagement program through reviewing feedback from the participants
- Works closely with Malaysia and Thailand employee engagement teams to localize or implement activities.
Workplace transformation
- Supports the line manager in the office space project to ensure we design a change management programme that is relevant to the new office space.
- Supports the line manager in conceptualising and executing change management processes, tools and techniques.
- Any other ad-hoc assignments
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
ESSENTIAL:
- Able to commit for at least 6 months (Jan to Jun 2022) for a full-time internship.
- Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Self-Motivated, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
- Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
- Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.
- Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products.
- Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.
- Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.
- Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends.
- Able to thrive despite challenges while adopting a positive attitude under pressure.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
DESIRABLE
- Have a keen eye for design
- Experience in producing creative content, eg. Emailer, video production
- Strong negotiation skills
