The Role…
Through this role, you’ll be able to gain an understanding of:
- Beauty market dynamics across the Asia Pacific region
- Brand management and ownership
- Marketing strategies and how it applies across markets
KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Brand Building: To support regional marketing development plans, Product innovations for Asia, facilitates regional marketing strategies guideline & coordinate marketing launch plans for Asia Pacific
- Competitive Insights: Close collaboration with different markets to assess market competitive landscape for cosmetics & personal care in Asia Pacific (portfolio gap, pricing & business model)
- Go-To-Market: Retail & merchandising excellence to elevate in-store brand experience.
- Marketing Coordinator: act as the key liaison between global team & APAC markets to disseminate brand assets, marketing strategies deployment & cascade best practice sharing.
ESSENTIAL:
- Able to commit for at least 6 months (Jan to Jun 2022) for a full-time internship.
- Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Self-Motivated, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
- Strong desire to learn along with strong sense of ownership and professional drive
- Must have excellent organizational skills, pay attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
- Articulate, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.
- Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products.
- Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.
- Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends.
- Able to thrive despite challenges while adopting a positive attitude under pressure.
