Crane is a community for lifelong learning, and a social space where likeminded individuals gather for fitness, workshops, lifestyle events and co-working.
Through the Crane community, members are encouraged to share life experience and professional expertise, particularly in the fields of sustainability, social impact, and holistic wellness.
We're looking for one or two interns to help with audio production, editing, video for Youtube, Instagram, and other SM outlets. This will be an opportunity for you to try new creative ideas and have a direct impact on the product and growth of Crane’s podcast shows and video/audio material.
You'll be able to meet and interact with people from all different cultures, ages, backgrounds, industries and organizational levels, plus there will be opportunities to network with other people in the podcast and A/V community.
We are looking for someone who wants to share their ideas, have fun while creating change, and wants to make a difference in the way people talk about lifelong learning and want to do more than talk but take action for change.
Time Commitment: Three to six months, may be extended to a full time position. Part time/full time options available.
Responsibilities
• Edit and produce podcasts (includes mixing and merging tracks, adding creative touches, music, leveling, etc.)
• Ideally we want to create video podcasts and also do live programs at different places
• Help with recording when possible and set up equipment
• Create short videos and graphics for youtube, Instagram and other podcast marketing platforms
• Provide input, feedback and perspective
Qualifications:
• Background and experience in audio production and comfortable with video
• Working knowledge of audio recording equipment and editing and recording applications
• Passionate about what you do and belief in the mission of Crane
• Interest in digital marketing would be a plus
• Creative thinker who is willing to try new ideas and learn from them when they don't work
• You're not afraid to admit what you don't know, and willing to learn and believe in our mission and race conversations to bring people together
• Good listening skills
• Curious and interested in interacting with people from different cultures, industries, backgrounds (race, age, culture, religion, gender, etc.)
•Besides audio, we want to use other forms of media, video for Youtube, Facebook Live, LinkedIn etc.
