Cudy Pte. Ltd. – Business Development (Internship)

Basic Requirements:

• At least 2 years of full-time tutoring experience or 4 years of part-time tutoring experience background, preferably teaching Secondary and Junior College level students
• Preferable sales or business development related experience in seed/early-stage startup
• Interpersonal and communication skills in English (excellent) & Mandarian (conversational)
• Thirst for success; Fearless of rejections for client facing role
• Proactive in following up on tasks and detail-oriented; able to execute projects independently with little supervision
• An independent high-achiever; Detail oriented; Collaborative; High self-motivation; Disciplined; Resourceful
• Extroverted personality; Passionate about meeting people; Unafraid of having conversations with strangers
• Effective time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks concurrently and keep on top of different projects

• Be able to be on-the-move out of the office at most times

Internship Requirements

• At least 3 months full-time commitment or at least 6 months full-time (flexible) commitment
• Preferably able to start work immediately
• GCE A level/Diploma and above
• Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents only
• Must be based in Singapore

Job Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to potential users leads through cold calling, text and email (basic training provided) to parents, students, tutors, tutor agencies and tuition centres to invite them to use us
• Regular follow-ups with past and potential user leads to acquire users for the company
• Achieve agreed upon user acquisition targets and outcomes within schedule
• Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to prospective users
• Be the point of contact for user enquiries
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential users to pitch according to their needs
• Coordinate and support marketing campaigns and projects between users and marketing team
• Conduct customer discovery, surveys, research and analysis with new and existing users
• Assist in user account management, following-up with user leads
• Use account management system to track user leads
• Other business operational and ad-hoc duties or projects as per the company’s needs
