We are seeking for a highly motivated individual to join Regional Center South East Asia (RC SEA) Truck Sales team under Daimler Commercial Vehicles South East Asia Pte. Ltd. (DCVSEA), located in Singapore.
Your main responsibilities will include the following:
1. Truck Sales and Market Management
- Establishing streamlined, transparent & standardized product portfolio for the major markets
- Ensuring the achievement of mutually agreed sales targets by region and ensuring timely submission of reports
- Monitoring competitors activities, retail price development and Industry trends & development
- Managing product pricing policies to ensure sustainability and profitability of the Business
- Conducting regular market research and data analysis to develop overall truck business strategy
- Coordinating with the Truck Marketing team on events/promotions/advertising
- Preparing of Sales quotation to GDs/ Dealers and supports on Fleet tender submission
- Defining collaborative sales strategies with Bodybuilders for Daimler Trucks growth
Providing any other direct support to the GDs/Dealers as and when required.
2. Collaboration with cross functions and other stakeholders in the value chain
- Facilitating and supporting other stakeholders on all planning processes for Trucks
- Liaising with HQ in Stuttgart on sales, production, pricing, and logistics market requests etc.
- Liaising with Finance & Controlling team on pricing strategies
- Liaising with Product Management team on Product Strategy and Vehicle specifications
- Liaising with and support CSP team on all after-sales issues
3. Project Management
- Preparing and implementing projects such as CKD studies, Market segment research etc.; as and when applicable
- Providing periodic report on project development to all stakeholders
And any other suitable tasks assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Tertiary Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical), Business or Marketing
- Fresh graduates and/or with minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred
- Past work/internship experience in Regional Sales or Market Management is preferred
- Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken
- Strong skills in Microsoft office, particularly Powerpoint and Excel
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Highly motivated individual and a strong team player
- Effective change management agent
- Business travels are expected from the incumbent
This position is based in location Singapore and may be offered at a lower job level based on candidate’s experience. A valid and approved work visa is required for employment in Singapore in accordance to local labour law regulations.
