About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Business Development Intern who is passionate to build a career and grow in the business development and sales domain. You must be a motivated self-starter and have outstanding communication skills. You must be self-driven to learn about our company’s products and solutions. You will get the opportunity to communicate and liaise with clients and prospects, understand their needs. You will also assist in developing prospecting and sales strategies by giving creative ideas to support the progress of the organisation. This role will require good business acumen, the ability to adapt, multitask, and have sound interpersonal skills.
What you’ll be working on:
Familiarising yourself with all products and services offered by our company
Assisting in generating leads via cold calling and cold emails.
Support the creation and presentation of new ideas and value of the products to contribute to sales and revenue.
Analyse customer behaviour and anticipate market trends to develop solutions to customer problems.
Analysing trends in the market, suggest strategies, identify opportunities to capitalise.
Report relevant findings from strategies implemented and get them approved by the senior management.
Perform and present competitor analysis.
Work to improve customer feedback channels and communication.
Help to develop new sales plans for existing and under-development projects.
Other duties assigned by the mentor.
We’d love if you have:
- Understanding of IoT world and industry 4.0.
- Past experience or internships in BD and Sales in a B2B setup.
- Comfortable with making cold calls/emails.
- Worked on any CRM software or LinkedIn Sales Navigator (plus points!).
- Enthusiastic about market research and analysis.
- Strong networking, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Hands on skill in MS Office, especially Powerpoint.
