Job Description

To provide support to the HR team in our initiatives, especially in relation to Learning and Development, Onboarding, Employee Engagement and Employer Value Proposition, and Talent Analytics.

By the end of your internship, you will pick up and/or hone your skills in project management, organizational thinking, conscientiousness, analytical thinking, content development, and multi-tasking.

Job responsibilities

1.Learning and Development:
•Assist in training needs analysis and curriculum design
•Handle course participant scheduling and attendance, for courses open to all Singapore-based employees, including Route 500 programmes (local and regional)
•Handle booking of training venue, and working with Office Admin on related logistics e.g. refreshment orders, if necessary
•Assist in WorkDay (an HR Information System) implementation, especially in Talent (Performance, Learning & Development, and Onboarding-related) modules


2.Onboarding:
•Assist in designing, running and evaluating Onboarding initiatives
•Update and/or develop content for our intranet portal (Neon) and/or other communications platforms, under the guidance of project leads in our team


3.Employee Engagement and Employer Value Proposition:
•Assist in projects that arise from driving employee engagement and EVP, such as the Agile Working
•Assist in Global Check-In (our bi-annual employee engagement survey) e.g. employee data preparation, data-checking, regional consolidation


4.Talent Analytics:
•Be involved in preparing and analyzing HR Metrics, with the help of Borderless HR, WorkDay, Excel as tools
•Assist in evaluating HR initiatives through surveys and other quantitative and qualitative data points
Note: You may be exposed to other ad-hoc projects not listed above. In addition, the listed responsibilities are subject to change according to the timing and duration of your internship, as well as business needs.

Skills/ experience/ personal attributes required

  • Responsible and conscientious in execution of tasks from end to end, by paying close attention to detail
  • Organised and systematic
  • Pioneering and receptive to experimenting with tools, to find efficient and effective solutions
  • Agile and adaptable, as things may change quickly in a relatively unstructured environment
  • Good grasp of written English to develop content e.g. communications material
  • Comfortable with numbers and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Powerpoint. Being adept at visuals (e.g. infographics, presentation slides) would be a bonus
  • Collaborative and possessing good interpersonal skills. A team player
  • Fast learner
  • Problem-solving - quick on feet to react to logistics matters fast and effectively
