Job Description

Developer Intern (Jan to Jun 2022)

Developer intern will work with team members from across the organization on a variety of projects touching web and mobile development. This candidate must be able to contribute to the definition of requirements, work closely with the engineering manager to define the solution, and be involved in all phases of the SDLC.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities: (or 'Duties')
  • Maintain and improve website
  • Participate throughout the SDLC
  • Write clean object-oriented code
  • Contribute actively in functional scoping and interaction design
  • Frontend development and integration using framework (ReactJS/VueJS)
  • Backend development using backend framework (.Net/Laravel/NodeJS)
  • Backend development using backend CMS (Umbraco/WordPress/Drupal)
  • Perform unit and end-to-end testing
  • Optimize website for faster loading time
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers and designers to deliver high quality website
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides
Skills required:
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS/JS
  • Knowledge of backend development (PHP/.Net)
  • Experience with SQL queries (MySQL/MsSQL)
  • Understand UX design and translate it design into code
  • Knowledge of Git repository (GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket)
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting (Azure/AWS)
  • Familiar with Linux and Windows Server environment
