Deston is looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our team and help drive the revolution of cooling water treatment in the Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) industry. We work with industry leaders from across data centres, commercial and industrials to achieving industry-leading water and energy savings while eliminating chemicals.

Our ASEAN Energy Award (2023) winning technology was key to Keppel achieving Singapore’s first Green Mark Platinum (Zero Energy) commercial building. Under BCA’s Super Low Energy Building challenge in 2018, we helped them further save 7% energy, and 80% blow-down water beyond Singapore’s highest efficiency rating at that time.

We have also helped a leading global Data Centre player win the Singapore Environmental Achievement Award 2023 through our industry-leading water savings.

Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in our mission to transform the water treatment and ACMV industry. You will be responsible for generating new customer leads, prospecting clients, preparing quotations, conducting sales presentations, and addressing client inquiries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of sustainable technology and engage with clients who value environmentally responsible solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new customer leads through various channels.
  • Prospect and engage potential clients through cold calling, emailing, and other outreach methods.
  • Prepare quotations, respond to client inquiries, and provide information about our products and services.
  • Conduct compelling and informative sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company.

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to make cold calls to generate leads and expand the client base.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for effective communication.
  • Customer-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Proven networks or relationships with building owners, facility heads, or chief engineers in the ACMV industry is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of water chemistry, chillers, cooling towers, and the ACMV industry is an asset.
  • A diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a sustainability-related discipline is a plus.
