Established in 2016, Digital Dream is a social enterprise that provides creative digital solutions for schools, institutions, elderly homes, youth groups, commercial spaces and offices.
Our team comprises of professional designers, programmers and developers with a passion for creating custom content for our solutions and putting them into the hands of the masses.
Game Designer/Programmer (Preferably undergrads currently pursuing diploma or degree in Game Design/Graphic Design)
This position will mainly collaborate with the creative team in designing games content and interactive experiences for wide range of audiences.
These will be displayed and used in the Immersive Interactive Cave system.
The intern will be involved in these areas of development:
graphic design
conceptualising
rapid prototyping
user experience - playtesting
Additionally, the intern will:
identify and articulate content objectives
design storyboards and process flow
present ideas and concepts
learn and design content for education, eldercare, youth, and event sectors
The intern should possess the following proficiencies:
Unity Engine scripting in C#
Adobe Photoshop (or other equivalent digital drawing software) - PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Bonus: Blender (or other equivalent 3D software)
Learning Objectives & Outcomes:
Opportunities to create games for Immersive Interactive, and Mixed Reality activities for special needs, children, youths, and the elderly.
Apply knowledge and skills in programming, scripting, engineering, to create games in a non-traditional and totally new Immersive Interactive Mixed Reality space.
Expansion of gaming skills in collaboration with colleagues.
Application and Expansion of knowledge in Unity, Unreal Engine, 3DSMAX, etc, Story scripting and UI UX
