Position 1. Graphic Designer/Artist
This position assists the creative team with developing contents for the Immersive Interactive Cave including graphic design, audio sound track, video inputs, AR, etc for various contents for special needs, education, eldercare, youth, and specific events. The intern will identify and articulate objectives, design storyboards, present ideas, draw or acquire artwork or assets, develop content and test the outcome. The intern may also support content management for social media accounts.
This position will mainly collaborate with the creative team in creating art assets to be used in games content and interactive experiences. These will be displayed and used in the Immersive Interactive Cave system. The Intern will be involved in these areas of development:
- 2D sprites and animation
- 3D characters/props and animation
- video editing and rendering
- background and environment design
- user interface design - audio design
Additionally, the intern will:
- identify and articulate design objectives
- design storyboards and process flow
- present ideas and concepts
- Support social media content if need be
- learn and design content for education, eldercare, youth, and event sectors
The intern should possess the following proficiencies:
Adobe Photoshop (or other equivalent digital drawing software)
Blender (or other equivalent digital drawing software)
Adobe Premiere Pro (or other equivalent digital editing software) - PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Bonus: Unity Engine scripting in C#
Bonus: Audacity (or other equivalent audio editing software)
