Job Description

The 

Working with a team of dynamic individuals, the Associate will support the execution of marketing communications activities for the agency’s portfolio of luxury lifestyle clients in various industries covering fashion, jewellery, beauty and hospitality. 

The job scope will cover a supportive role to all relevant planning and implementation work required for the delivery of a complete range of marketing communications activities undertaken by the team that includes Public Relations, Content Creation, Advertising, Samples Management, Events Planning and Media Monitoring. In addition, he/she will also be responsible for maintaining and cultivating enduring relationships with clients and media.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with and support the team on all aspects of media and client relations management.
  • Support the daily operations within the team on all necessary tasks including but not limited to, seasonal press presentations, packing and organisation of gifting/seeding and updating of media/influencer database.
  • Responsible for media monitoring and reporting across print, online and social channels.
  • Contribute to the organisation of the press showroom, including the monitoring of fashion sample movements, receiving and returns, maintenance of a systematic log and showroom supplies.
  • Develop and maintain brands’ communication materials, including but not limited to, press releases, images, videos, product mailers, brand collaterals.
  • Assist with media event planning and execution, including support at the event, shows and personality fittings organized by the agency.
  • Develop productive relationships with press and influencers
  • Demonstrate an active interest in the media and/or influencer landscape in the luxury market, and take initiative to identify new opportunities for product placement or features
  • Stay up-to-date with the industry and media developments; actively share any trending news, creative ideas and industry’s insights and best practices with the marketing communications division

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Communications and New Media, Mass Communications, or related field
  • Existing communications/press office experience in a fashion brand or agency is preferred
  • High level of organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Passion for the media and luxury/fashion/beauty industry
  • Meticulous with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Driven self-starter who is passionate and has a positive ‘can do’ and contributory attitude
  • Resilient, independent and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, is proactive and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
