Job Description

The Role:

  • Lead regional market expansion strategy for eCommerce
  • Drive eCommerce strategic plans & enable in-market execution
  • Develop eCommerce strategic plans and govern the strategic initiatives
  • Define and prioritize strategies for multi-channel, pureplay and marketplace eCommerce accounts
  • Collaborate with area & in-market eCommerce specialists & analysts to track sales & product performance against the strategic plan and identify improvement/enhancement opportunities to achieve greater sales targets
  • Conduct ongoing market and business analysis to support decision-making & identify new opportunities
  • Research key markets, business, and technology trends for eCommerce in Asia
  • Develop competitive frameworks to drive category growth through competitive analysis, keeping competitive points of view updated and communicated
  • Follow best-practices and processes to improve presence on eCommerce platforms. This includes actively consulting and supporting the business team as they execute on account negotiations, product presence improvements, content improvements and other requisites to reach eCommerce sales goals.

Requirements:

  • Min Degree in Business / Marketing
  • Min 6-7 years of experience in strategic eCommerce
  • Demonstrated experience in retail eCommerce, business-to-business (B2B) eCommerce, and business-to-consumer (B2C) eCommerce
  • Knowledge of the latest trends, technologies and platforms for eCommerce
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
