Job Description

INTERNSHIP PURPOSE

To provide opportunities and coaching to those who have recently graduated or will soon be graduating to develop their skills professionally during current economic climate. Upon completion of the internship, these young graduates will be equipped with valuable industrial and functional experience so that they will gain a firmer foothold in job market during economic recovery professionally and mentally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the team with market research & insights for new product development.

  • Assist in the preparation of Business Cases, including market sizing, industry analysis, competitor & landscape.
  • Work with the team to prepare market insights for Pineapple industry.

Assist the team with Business Development Activities

  • Help prepare & execute the strategy to take new products to market (offline & online sales channels)
  • Building a data base and reaching out to potential customers to help develop overall customer pipeline.
  • Assist in preparing the sales tool kit for the commercial team to be used with Customers (presentations, flyers etc.)

Project Management

  • Assist in project tracking and stakeholder communication management (understanding of food tech or food science good to have, as the work will include interacting with technical internal and external stakeholders

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree in Food Science or Business Administration

- Experience in F&B ingredients or Food tech preferred

- Basic data processing and analytics skills

- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint)

- Solution-oriented, passionate, and proactive attitude

- Good command of written & spoken English

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Self-motivated, responsible & can work independently as well as collaboratively.

- Prior internship experience with global organizations preferred
