Dow Technologies and System – Intermediate PowerBI Developer

Qualifications and Profile Mandatory 

• At least 5 years in software development with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Power BI 
• Familiar with any tracking tool like Jira 
• Strong BI modelling skills using Analysis services with the ability translate reporting needs to a BI model which can serve the report as well as adhoc analytics 
• 4+ years of experience in BI tools (tableau, qlikview etc.) with 2+ years’ experience in Power BI with in-depth development experience with recent versions of SQL Server. Ø Experience creating calculated measures and columns with DAX in MS Power BI Desktop 
• Expert knowledge using advanced calculations using MS Power BI Desktop
• (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table) 
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2014- 2017), MSSQL, SSRS (2014 and 2017), and SSIS (2014 and 2017) 
• You have experience in writing SQL queries and optimisation and knowledge in database engine and data model

Good to have 

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure SQL database 
• Having knowledge of BIML is an added advantage 
• Having ITIL knowledge is an advantage as well as any experience in RUN activities · Basic understanding of finance and investment banking related reporting
