About the Position:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Digital Media Intern to join our Town Council team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about digital media, social media management, and content creation. You’ll gain hands-on experience in designing communication materials, managing social media content, capturing photos and videos, and developing digital campaigns. If you have a knack for storytelling and a keen eye for current trends, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Design Communication Collaterals: Assist in developing innovative designs for digital and print media to communicate our initiatives and events effectively.
- Social Media Content Creation: Help craft engaging content for social media platforms, highlighting our Town Council and estate issues. Monitor and adapt to social media trends to increase engagement.
- Photography and Videography: Support the team by taking high-quality photos and videos of our estates and events for content creation.
- Photo and Video Editing: Use modern editing tools to enhance visual materials, ensuring they meet communication objectives.
- Digital Campaign Development: Assist in creating digital campaigns that captivate the audience and convey the council’s messages.
Qualifications:
- ITE or Diploma graduates in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge or experience in graphic design, social media management, photography, and video production.
- Familiarity with digital design tools and social media platforms.
- Flexibility to attend events outside regular office hours.
