Ecquitas – Admin Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in investment databases and stay updated on new market developments, the investor landscape and client work 
• Run ad-hoc and ongoing analysis on the investor and deal marketplace
• Provide leverage to case teams by handling discrete pieces of work – ranging from ad-hoc requests to full staffing on a module or case
• Prepare reports, presentations, decks and other materials  
• Creating, updating, and preparing materials (fund presentations, portfolio fact sheets, etc.) using Excel, Power Point, and Adobe Illustrator
• Support the management of relationships with current and prospective investors and clients

Profile

• Critical thinking; ability to break down and tackle complex problems
• A self-starter. Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile to meet goals
• Independent, structured and team oriented
• Deep passion for investing in the financial markets
• Ability to code (Python, R, etc) would be beneficial
• You have a service-oriented mentality, and can think creatively about ways to address cross-industry business questions through data
• Fluency in English; fluency in Chinese is preferred
