Company Profile

We help students learn basic engineering concepts in a better, faster and smarter way by providing an interactive learning tool.

Edgebotix developed a versatile robotics platform to better teach students concepts in computer science, robotics and mechatronics. The eBot is a wirelessly programmable robot with various sensors and actua-tors including: motors, LED’s, buzzer, encoders, IR sensors, ultrasonic sensors, 6-axis accelerometer, light, temperature, current and voltage sensors. With newer wireless technologies, code deployment and execution on the eBot is extremely simple. It is designed to maximize student engagement and interest while still providing an excellent learning experience. The platform can be used for STEM education in high schools as well as more advanced topics taught in the post-secondary level including: control sys-tems, path planning, and artificial intelligence. The robotics platform will also consist of an online com-munity of teachers and professors where they can share and find creative lab exercises and curriculum co ntent. The platform will provide a seamless teaching experience at various levels of education. eBot, EdgeBotix’s flagship robot is the first of its kind, a modular, low-cost 3D printable robots intended for all levels of education. Its simple physical interface design makes it robust and extremely easy to use. Its extensible platform allows eBots to be easily integrated with multiple software packages all the while meeting specific performance requirements. An eBot will be sold as a pre-assembled robot, ready to go out of the box and as a kit which requires assembly. With the kit, a complete CAD model will be included to allow users to design and 3D print a custom robot body
