Job Description

EduSpark is a fast-growing education technology company, with a rapidly growing global user base. We're a mission-driven organisation transforming the way educators connect and learn.

An opportunity has arisen to join our small, highly committed team. This is a chance to get in at the ground level, and work closely with the Founder and executive team. Your role as an SDR will be highly varied, working with new schools and supporting existing educators to get the most from the EduSpark platform.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead generation across target sectors and geographies globally
  • Working with prospective new customers to demonstrate the EduSpark platform
  • Supporting the closing of new business contracts and providing a best in class experience
  • Handling day to day operations of the business including calendar bookings and email.

Alongside this, we anticipate your role could grow to include:

  •  Working across marketing - campaigns and brand development
  • Taking a more active role in product development and contributing to the development of the community roadmap
  • Working with external vendors such as our external marketing company, including editing of concept designs and creative lead on possible campaigns.

Specifically, we're looking for:

  • Someone with 2+ years of proven experience in a sales/business development role, ideally having worked for a SaaS organisation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to spend significant amounts of time on video/phone calls
  • Relentlessly optimistic, a positive can-do attitude and a desire to work in a high-performing team.

We're a small team with big aspirations. We offer a fun, flexible, remote working environment in a rapidly growing sector. We are Singapore based, however the role is open to the applicants from any region in SE Asia as you will be working remotely.

If this sounds like the role for you, please apply with your resume and a short one-page cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
