Position Specific Description
As the Business Analyst Intern, the success candidate will provide insights and present information to assist the product team in making informed decisions and drive innovation in AIoT and Smart City Infrastructure solutions. The candidate will need to have top academic performance with deep understanding/experience in industrial software infrastructure and adequate knowledge in smart city/energy industry.
In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of cutting-edge AIOT related operations and products and be learn how to utilize them to drive the various software delivery phases. Strong problem-solving skill, independent study capability and self-motivation are the core qualities of a suitable candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with end users and subject matter experts to define business goals and problems that need to be managed
- Support product team to develop market leading AIOT and Smart City Infrastructure related solutions and solves customers’ pain-points.
- Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support business owners.
- Processing and utilizing data & information for business insights and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
- Be dynamic and adaptive to the tasks and responsibility assigned to.
Requirements:
- Major in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems and Analytics and Electrical Engineering, or other relevant programmes preferred
- Keen understanding about IT systems and software delivery methodologies is a must.
- Knowledge in system functionalities and logic.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to write up systems-specification documents in a clear and concise manner
Preferred Requirements:
- Good understanding or passion towards energy industry (power system, renewable energy, energy storage system etc.)
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets is a bonus
