Job Description


We are looking for highly motivated individuals who want to receive relevant work experience and training from a global MNC.  Our regional finance headquarters is currently located in CBD area. Individuals will be joining a very dynamic team comprised of multiple disciplines and experiences that will enhance their knowledge base.  Interns will be reporting to our regional tax senior manager. 

  • Assist APAC direct tax compliance function, including preparing tax schedules and reconciliations for external tax consultants to prepare tax returns and computations, etc.
  • Assist APAC indirect tax compliance function, including reviewing monthly bill run reports to ensure tax system is applying GST/VAT/CT correctly, supporting review and consolidation of SG GST group reporting, etc.
  • Assist APAC quarterly and annual tax provisioning process, including completion of quarterly and annual tax packages, preparation of tax provision to return true-up, checking of tax payables with preparation of roll-forward schedules, maintenance and substantiation of deferred tax inventory, etc.
  • Prepare financial  schedules and other adhoc reporting as necessary

Requirements:

  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Individual who has completed Basic Taxation Module will be preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
