Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Fixed Asset Monthly Mass Additions Activities
  • Preparation of Monthly Fixed Asset Accruals / Monthly Lease Journals
  • Update Monthly Audit Schedules for Fixed Assets/Leases/ARO (Asset Retirement Obligations)
  • Preparation/Analysis of RSO’s financial month end/management reports
  • Perform detailed accrual calculations and reconciliations for regional office books
  • Assist in re-evaluation of leases under new US GAAP guidance.
  • Global Fixed Assets/Lease Projects – UAT (User Acceptance Tests)
  • Improvement/Streamline in FA/Leases/Sarbanes-Oxley Act Compliance Process within APAC region.

Specific projects / learning outcomes: 

  • Understand Business Workflow processes within finance functional teams
  • Perform month end close activities and preparation of financial reports
  • Gain an understanding of corporate work environment; to work with different cultures within APAC


Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Word.  Knowledge in Visual Basic is an advantage.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of people and nationalities.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices and policies.
