General Characteristics
To be part of the lens manufacturing process responsible for edging and fitting prescription lenses into frames before delivery to our customers.
Representative Activities
· With the use of dedicated equipment to perform tracing to obtain the shape and properties of frames that determine the edging method of the lenses to be fitted.
· Chamfering and polishing of edged lenses before fitting them into the frames.
· Quality inspection of the final product to ensure the prescription and cosmetic requirements are met concerning Essilor Standards.
Key Competencies & Job Requirements
· Eye for details and comfortable to work with delicate products.
· Able to work shifts and overtime where needed.
· Team player.Handle any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager
