JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be an integral part of the dynamic regional marketing team responsible for the go-to-market planning and delivery, collaborating with the markets, to continue the rapid growth of Transitions.
This regional scope encompasses Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, Korea and South East Asia. The intern is expected to work with internal (global, regional and local marketing, sales teams, cross-functional teams) and external (suppliers & vendors including agencies) parties.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
Marketing calendar planning, execution & tracking - follow through regional and in-country trade/channel initiatives, tracking results, adjusting plans and defining best practices and possible improvements for future activities. This covers:
- Retail activations: synergy campaigns, Point Of Sales Mat’s(POSMs) assets, demonstration & merchandising tools
- Promotions: B2B or B2B2C promotions to help drive sale and loyalty among customers
- Training: develop relevant training path & content for eye care professionals, facilitating dispensing and sell-out.
- Events that feature the brand: internal and external events including optical fairs, summits and conferences
- Trade Communication: trade / internal communication or newsletter on the brand and its activities
Support the creation/adaptation of brand programs, demonstrating creativity & innovative thinking in:
- Enhancing the Transitions Brand visibility all along the in-store journey
- Demonstrating our products technologies superiority and differentiation
- Supporting the overall brand marketing plan including management of consumer & trade content
- Facilitating and support in tracking the marketing spends by country and initiative
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational Background in Optometry/Marketing/Engineering/Business
- Highly analytical, business oriented & great with presentations. Excellent MS Office skills esp. w/ Excel & PowerPoint
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in ambiguous situations
- Positive attitude and diligent in following through on priorities and delivering high quality results
- Versed in or interested in brands in general. Fluency in English, second language in APAC would be an advantage for the needs of business communication with relevant markets.
