Job Description

JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support the Myopia Brand Manager and the Medical & Professional Affairs team. This role offers hands-on experience in marketing, event coordination, and professional affairs, particularly within the optometry and eye health sectors. The intern will assist with marketing materials, events, conferences, and other key initiatives that drive awareness and engagement around myopia management.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

 Marketing Support:

  • Assist in the creation, design, and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital content.
  • Collaborate with the Myopia Brand Manager to support the execution of marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
  • Contribute to social media planning, content development, and performance tracking.

Event & Conference Coordination:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, conferences, and webinars related to myopia and professional medical affairs.
  • Assist in organizing event logistics, including registration, materials preparation, venue coordination, and vendor communication.
  • Manage event-related communications with attendees, partners, and internal teams.

Content & Materials Management:

  • Work with the Medical & Professional Affairs team to ensure that educational and promotional materials align with current medical guidelines and branding.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining databases of marketing and professional materials.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices to inform content creation and strategy.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Myopia Brand Manager and the Medical & Professional Affairs team.
  • Maintain tracking systems for project deadlines, campaign performance, and event logistics.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and post-event analyses.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in healthcare, eye health, or optometry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
