Job Description

JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Employee Activation

  • WHAT: Evangelise EssilorLuxottica’s mission of helping everyone “see more and be more” to all employees and rally them to support the Foundation’s work to eliminate uncorrected poor vision in a generation through volunteering
  • HOW:
  • Lead regional employee engagement activities such as Charitable Clinics, Foundation Townhalls, Advocacy Campaigns etc.
  • Increase awareness amongst employees on the Foundation’s ambition to eliminate uncorrected poor vision
  • Inspire, excite and rally employees to engage with the Foundation’s activities through the Get Involved campaign throughout the year

Drive Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Internal – Regional Management / Department Leaders
  • Garner commitment from regional and local management to support the Foundation’s activities in each South East Asia country and appoint a dedicated ambassador to the Foundation per country.
  • External – Governments / NGOs / Educational Institutions / Optical Partners / Cross-Sector Partners
  • Strengthen existing partnerships to create impactful programs that do good strategically and sustainably
  • Pursue new collaborations that support and are aligned with the Foundation’s ambition of eliminating uncorrected poor vision

Strategic Program Planning

  • Conceptualise, plan and implement key signature programs which are effective in generating new wearers
  • Build an engaged pool of volunteers to support the Foundation’s programs
  • Communicate regular and exciting updates on the Foundation’s activities and volunteers’ impact on eliminating uncorrected poor vision

Leadership & Managerial Capabilities 

  • Provide holistic and relevant leadership training to employees who have stepped up to become volunteer leaders for the Foundation
  • Mentor and lead the Foundation’s Team Members to execute their duties efficiently and develop professionally


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Continue to drive and implement the on-going projects across Southeast Asia
  • Create strong employee engagement and cause for our strategic giving and philanthropy
  • Implement the Foundation’s projects including preparation of logistics, supply chain management and following up on project finances and KPIs
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the Foundation’s programs and the impact and progress towards its objectives
  • Support manager in the Foundation’s ad-hoc activities when required

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently studying with Marketing / Business / Communications
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in event management, public relations and/or marketing
  • Demonstrates leadership capabilities
  • Experience in volunteering/charity work will be an advantage
  • Purpose-driven and passionate
  • Inspiring leader with the ability to influence and rally a wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter and Collaborative attitude
  • Innovative, analytical and meticulous
