Job Description

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Intern looking to learn more about reinsurance underwriting within our dynamic and inclusive team in Singapore. This is an active contributor role for an individual with desire and willingness to develop first-hand knowledge and skills in international reinsurance company.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Expand Everest Re business profitably in the targeted lines of business and territories in Asia Pacific
  • Underwriting work from opportunity identification, data input, risk analysis, deal negotiation to its conclusion including filing and report.
  • Work with team on deals maintenance including data management and operational processes.
  • Undertake various business planning projects and research activities

 

Ideal Candidate & Requirements

  • Analytical minded, meticulous with numbers, keen sense of identifying trends, effective communicator and a team player
  • In depth knowledge of Excel with skills in macro programming
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication
  • Team player with open mindset
  • Strong attention to detail
