Job Description

We are looking for competent Event Coordinators to assist the project team in overseeing, organise and manage events that will make an impact on a target audience. You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.

An event professional is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organisational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting project team in planning and organising of events
  • Plan event from start to finish in accordance to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the success of the event
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Be in charge of hiring personnel (DJs, Performers, Part-timers etc.)
  • Coordinate all operations
  • Lead promotional activities for the event
  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
  • Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

Requirements:

  • Passionate about Event Management/ MICE industry
  • A keen interest in event management
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Customer-service orientation
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • Current students/ Fresh Grads from ITE, Poly or above in event management, PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
  • Full-time position may be offered to the right candidates during the internship period
