Fabulous Swim School – Swim Teacher

Role Description

We’re hiring part-time and full-time swim teachers to lead safe, fun, and skill-focused lessons that inspire students.

• Flexible scheduling around your availability, with a strong emphasis on reliability (we value commitment to your students!).
• No experience? No problem! Paid in-house training is provided for all new coaches.
• Earning potential: Start at $25/hour, with raises based on a clear progression system and performance reviews.

We’re Looking For:

• Passion for Teaching – Enthusiasm for working with children and fostering water safety skills
• Reliable & Punctual – Committed to scheduled lessons with excellent time management
• Positive Attitude – Encouraging, patient, and adaptable to different learning styles
• Certified coaches who hold any of the stated certificates (NROC, Swim Australia, or Austswim)

For interested coaches who are looking to be certified, we are able to conduct Swim Australia courses that internationally certify you. We will offer on-the-job attachments during the certification journey, where we will assess your commitment, attitude, and potential.

Candidates who show promise during their attachment will be shortlisted to join our coaching team. But even if you’re not selected, we’ll still support your career—most of our trainees find classes within weeks of completing the course, thanks to our job placement assistance.
