You will stalk and assist the sound director in conceptualising and creating suitable soundscapes for a theatre show. Disclaimer: this is different from sound / music composing.
As an assistant, aside to sound work, you will also analyse the script text, observe rehearsals, as well as delve into discussions about the show structure and pacing = the conceptual aspects of sound design.
Must be able to use Logic and/or Ableton.
Most of your time will be spent OTOT to meet the deadlines for the tracks except for rehearsals and production meetings.
Majority of the work will start from early October through to mid November. Meetings and rehearsals take place from end august through to Sept and will be sporadic.
