Job Description

Financial Media Group is a leading global organization dedicated to connecting investors and small businesses. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Head of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing efforts, specifically targeting executives in various industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies to reach and engage the executive audience. This will be a very hands on role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy targeting executives, aligned with the overall business objectives.

    • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.

    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor campaign performance to optimize strategies and achieve desired outcomes.

  • Content Development and Distribution:

    • Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging, informative, and relevant content tailored for the executive audience.

    • Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to ensure content aligns with business objectives and resonates with executive personas.

    • Utilize various digital channels, including social media, email marketing, webinars, and thought leadership platforms, to maximize content reach and engagement.

    • Have good copywriting / editing skills

  • Digital Advertising and Campaign Management:

    • Manage digital advertising campaigns, including PPC, display advertising, and sponsored content, targeting executives across different platforms.

    • Optimize advertising strategies to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and conversions, focusing on high-quality executive leads.

    • Conduct A/B testing and use data-driven insights to refine ad targeting, messaging, and creative to enhance campaign performance.

  • Data Analysis and Performance Tracking:

    • Utilize analytics tools to analyze digital marketing performance and track campaign effectiveness against set KPIs.

    • Generate regular reports showcasing campaign metrics, ROI, and actionable insights for continuous improvement and decision-making.

    • Work closely with data analytics teams to identify trends and patterns to enhance targeting strategies and optimize marketing efforts.

  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Lead and motivate a remote team of digital marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, including sales, product development, and marketing, to align digital marketing efforts with overall business strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing preferably in a global business environment.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and trends.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEO tools, social media advertising platforms, and marketing automation systems.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex data sets and extract actionable insights.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and strategies.

  • Creative, can do attitude to all problems.
