Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring news stories related to FinTech and Travel industry

FinTech - Especially wealth management, robo-advisory, AI, digital banking, digital investment, etc. We will be using these news stories on our social media

Travel – exiting and new players in the Travel and Travel Technology industry (e.g. new Travel app on the market), interesting places, culture, traditions and/or festivals which are less known to tourist, etc. We will be using relevant information for social media

  • Conducting secondary research via Google, research databases and other sources
  • Assisting with qualitative and/or quantitative primary research projects, such as analyzing survey data, taking notes during focus groups/in-depth interviews, analyzing qualitative data and writing research reportss
  • Assist with media analysis projects by creating charts in Excel and developing insights to explain key findings
  • Delivering multiple assignments on deadline
  • FinTech and Travel related events, seminars, etc
  • Latest news on the competitors (e.g. new market movement, new features etc)
  • Clients/Users’ needs, trends, interests
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Economics/Statistic or higher
  • Academic coursework or professional experience in primary research (qualitative, quantitative or both)
  • Academic coursework or professional experience in secondary research, such as literature reviews, research papers and media summaries
  • Innate curiosity to learn more and dig deeper
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to condense and summarize research data into meaningful findings
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Good attitude to learn new things
  • Self-organized
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Hardworking and highly Discipline
