The successful candidate will join the Singapore team, working with teams in Hong Kong, Beijing and Japan across the wider business. The environment at Finsbury is dynamic and there will be plenty of opportunities for career development through involvement in a wide variety of projects and clients.
Typical initial duties will involve
- News monitoring and press summaries
- Research and analysis
- Media / editorial support – e.g. developing media lists and story angles, pitching and follow-ups
- Content development – e.g. social messages, commentaries, bylined articles
- Assist with events and/or other ad-hoc engagements – e.g. logistics, media kits, presentations
- Provide general support for the team
Necessary attributes
- Strong academic record with exemplary written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrable interest in business environment and current affairs
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time
- Proactive, team player, and with strong attention to details
- Responsible, can be trusted to work with confidential information
- Preferably with some agency/ in-house experience
- Knowledge of capital markets and financial industry is advantageous
*Normal working hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, though you may be required to put in additional hours during peak periods. Should you require an alternative arrangement (e.g. three-day work week), please mention that in your cover note.
**Possible conversion to a permanent role if the successful candidate has performed well during the course of the internship, and is a good fit with the team.
