Besides that, a new fine art wing, Gallery 1819 Singapore, was added to offer investment into emerging Asian artworks, featuring Senior Artist Thomas Yeo, Niu Zhi Ye, Nancy Lang and Aaron Gan.
Artists are selected from around the world, with a particular emphasis on supporting local artists. Walk around the Tan Boon Liat space, and you will see colorful Murano glasswork alongside local artist’s textural pieces, large traditional canvases, triptychs, bronze sculptures and much more. Pieces can be customized in terms of colour, theme, size, style and medium, giving the customer greater flexibility. “We particularly love bright and cheery colours and interesting sculptures, which make great conversational pieces.”
Looking for an energetic Art Consultant highly skilled in Customer Service. Duties to include the following:
Conducting sales of artwork, whilst collaborating closely with the sales team.
Creating and maintaining relationships with industry specialists, such as Artists and Collectors, in order to develop a client base.
Display a clear understanding of client’s needs and interests, looking at not only style, but also practicality. Having extensive knowledge of each artist’s individual techniques and their significance within the industry.
Attending Art Fairs and events, whilst also meeting with clients in order to sell, source and invest in new pieces.
Planning and hosting events, such as art exhibitions, in order to meet with prospective buyers.
Maintain a clear understanding of art world trends as they change.
Confidently liaise with artists, press and relevant organisers of art fairs.
