The Site Survey Technician will;
- Travel to commissioned work sites and survey telecom assets such as:
- Utility poles
- Terrestrial assets
- Street lamps
- Field Surveyors may be responsible for jurisdictional or customer contact and obtaining permission to visit the commissioned locations.
- May also be responsible for drawing up schematics immediately following a field survey
- Understand and strictly adhere to safety practices and guidelines.
- Prepare and submit final report of completion daily for the clients activity management system.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
The Site Survey Technicians requirements will include;
- Site work experience that includes detailed review of an area to capture all existing utilities, all adjacent structures, detailed measurements and the path to extend facilities a plus.
- Ability to read and understand architectural / engineering drawings.
- Ability to manage, organize and layout drawing requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products,
- Excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Work independently under minimal supervision.
- The survey technician role requires walking daily.
