Job Description

The Site Survey Technician will;

  • Travel to commissioned work sites and survey telecom assets such as:
    • Utility poles
    • Terrestrial assets
    • Street lamps
  • Field Surveyors may be responsible for jurisdictional or customer contact and obtaining permission to visit the commissioned locations.
  • May also be responsible for drawing up schematics immediately following a field survey
  • Understand and strictly adhere to safety practices and guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit final report of completion daily for the clients activity management system.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

The Site Survey Technicians requirements will include;

  • Site work experience that includes detailed review of an area to capture all existing utilities, all adjacent structures, detailed measurements and the path to extend facilities a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural / engineering drawings.
  • Ability to manage, organize and layout drawing requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products,
  • Excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Work independently under minimal supervision.
  • The survey technician role requires walking daily.
