Flying Chalks is a young global company conceived with the mission to enhance the overseas studies experience of students worldwide!
We achieve that by operating the first one-stop platform for international students worldwide. Much like the TripAdvisor and LinkedIn combined for overseas studies, our platform allows students to seamlessly PLAN their overseas studies, benefit from SHARED experiences and CONNECT with other students with ease. And to complement what we do online, we also provide consultancy services to students who would like to study abroad.
Just 1.5 years from launch, we have already attracted 8,000 students from over 470 universities worldwide to join our community. With teams in Singapore, Vietnam and South Korea and looking to expand further, join us if you fit who we are looking for!
- Lead and coordinate our global marketing efforts, both online and offline. We are currently in Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam, and are planning to expand into more markets!
- Study our competitive landscape and collect customer feedback to improve our service offerings.
- Grow our current revenue streams and develop new businesses
- Manage the operational demands from our service offerings and run events.
- User acquisition through forging partnerships with, but not limited to, universities, student clubs, embassies, companies and institutions.
- Manage our Flying Chalks Ambassador Program for Singapore.
- To put up job postings, conduct interviews and hire to expand the Marketing & Operations team when deemed needed by management.
Job requirements:
We are seeking for individuals who:
- Are able to effectively lead and manage a team to fulfil our marketing and operational demands
- Possess experience in Marketing and/or Business Development
- Willing to get your hands dirty when needed to ensure that our operations run smoothly
- Great English writing proficiency
- Commit beyond what a “normal employee” would do to grow alongside the company to its fullest potential! Start-ups do not seek for “normal employees” but you can be rest assured that your efforts will definitely be rewarded!
- Most importantly, looking to join the company long-term!
