The intern will be involved in four areas of work
- Development of Global Sales Strategy Playbook – Interns will have the opportunity to be exposed to refining and understanding intricate sales strategies and coordinate with external vendor
- Identifying Distribution Opportunities – Interns will learn fundamental data analysis to identify distribution opportunities in the different markets and channels to drive sales.
- Leading execution of sales strategies in local markets – Interns will be helping to provide supporting materials that reinforce execution of updated/new strategies into the local markets in helping to achieve sales performance excellence.
- Tracking local markets – Interns will take ownership of a local market and help monitor and analyse the markets for performance and problem identification.
Development opportunities
- Gain experience in project coordination/management
- Understanding how Fonterra manages its Route-To-Market, from Channel strategies to Retailer and Distributor management, and Performance results analysis.
- Understanding Fonterra’s Shopper Infused Perfect Store, Perfect store strategy, how it is executed in Markets and tracked, review and action planning
- Gain global, multi-market perspective as you work with key leaders from various business functions
- Structured mentorship and feedback (1-2-3 Intern Work Plan)
Key Skills & Attitude
- Be in the final year of Tertiary education majoring in Marketing.
- Have exposure to sales or marketing and a keen interest in the FMCG industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Confident, positive attitude and willingness to learn, detail-oriented, outspoken and pro-active.
- Team player and able to handle ambiguity.
- Experience in using Tableau will be an added advantage.

Note:
1) Start date will be on 15 December 2021.
2) Only students who are able to commit for the entire period of internship from 15 December 2021 to 30 June 2022 will be considered.
3) Selected student will be required to apply for a “Leave of Absence” to complete this internship for a non-credit bearing internship.
