Job Description

Role Purpose

You will support the SEA Central Planning Manager on the simplification and documentation journey of our regional and in market Supply Chain (SC) functions. The main objective of this internship is to get a deep understanding of the SC processes by working closely with the Southeast Asia (SEA) SC team and help to create analytic tools and documents to support the decision-making process in a simpler and faster way.

Development opportunities

  • Learn about Supply Chain in a FMCG world (regional and local), specially E2E planning – from demand to supply.
  • Work with diverse teams across SEA markets to understand processes and gather data – relevance, speed and use of right communication tools, use analytical tools tosuggest pace and opportunities for reports simplification.
  • Learn about SAP tool and continue to develop PBI and other systems skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with SEA regional and in market Supply Chain teams to understand the SC processes and collect feedback of the opportunities for reports simplification / automation.
  • Collect SC process information from different sources (markets and NZ teams) to generate a new version of E2E planning process business rules document
  • Propose – together with the SEA SC Team - ways to automate reports, mainly using PBI.
  • Generate the new reports in PBI, including update manuals
  • Make a mid-term (end-March) and Final presentation (end-June) with key stakeholders

Key Skills & Attitude:

  • Be in the second or final year of Tertiary education majoring in Supply Chain Management
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Offices, specially Power BI and Advance Excel
  • Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player and able to work independently
