Chung Hwa Food / Food People was a local food manufacturer and importer established in 1974. We aim to leverage on the integrity of Singapore’s reputation on its food regulations and standards by using Singapore as a platform to import and export own brands, OEM, and Co-branded products to and from Singapore and Taiwan respectively, and thereafter into their respective regions over medium and long terms. Our vision is to lay a strong foundation for CH to be able to grow steadily and more rapidly on a sustainable basis. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drive and supervise positive business growth.
  • Detect wastage and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee day-to-day business activities.
  • Introduce and implement innovative short and long-term business goals.
  • Liaise and consult with clients, staff, and suppliers.
  • Evaluate and enhance employee performance.
  • Improve business programs, technologies, and policies.
  • Negotiate and approve agreements with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee and manage budget activities.
  • Harmonize organizational activities.

 

Learning Outcomes & Objectives

  • Learning about the workflow of the company from manufacturing to distributing.
  • Learning how to use the company software to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  • Learn how to communicate between customers and suppliers
  • Learning how to prepare and document invoices for traceability purposes when it is required.

 

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong aptitude for math.
  • Broad business knowledge.

  • Excellent networking skills.

Accounting and finance experience.
