Our client is opening a 6-month internship to support the founders team on a wide range of topics with a main focus on strategy and operations. This position is for recent graduates or students pursuing their master’s degree. It's a unique opportunity to contribute to the early stages of startup building while gaining a bird's-eye view of how a startup operates. You'll get a unique first-row seat inside the founders' minds, which expedites your learning.


Our client is driven to make impact for the people and for the planet, help smallholder farmers, agricultural producers and biomass aggregator to make value from their residues. We turn agricultural waste streams into valuable resources and carbon removal solutions, increasing farmers' revenue, and regenerating soil in the tropics.

Responsibilities


You will work on various aspects of operations including the following tasks:

• Develop our internal toolset (Biomass pre-assessment, techno-economic analysis, LCA, etc) to support project development team

• Participate in the development of our knowledge base and support marketing & communication team: write, and edit engaging and informative newsletters on biochar and carbon removal related topic

• Collaborate with the founders and cross-functional teams to develop our digital product, optimise processes and implement strategies to digitalise and monitor the whole supply chain

• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with potential customers, pyrolysis equipment providers, etc.

• Monitor industry trends, news, and developments in Carbon Removal and Biochar industry, providing insights and recommendations for our business and product offerings.

Requirements

• You are about to graduate or currently pursuing a master’s degree, and looking for fast-growing learning opportunities that are both strategic and operational.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Fluent English, excellent Oral and written skills.

• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to work successfully within a small team and fast-changing organization.

• Execution-oriented with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects.

• Passionate about sustainability, fighting against the climate crisis, and improving people's lives.
